Installation, Assembly
4.1
Transport, Storage
Use suitable lifting tackle for transport and assembly.
Lifting tackle as per 98/37/EU Directive for Machines, Appendix I.
The motors weigh up to 300 kg. For exact details, please refer to the catalog or dimensional
sheet.
WARNING
Danger during lifting and transporting procedures!
Improper handling, unsuitable or defective devices, tools etc. can
cause injuries and/or property damage.
Lifting devices, ground conveyors and lifting tackle must correspond
to the valid regulations.
CAUTION
A lifting beam (Fig. 2) is to be used for lifting and transporting the motors by
the eyebolts supplied (according to DIN 580).
Note the following:
- Screw the eyebolt in completely and hand-tight (ca. 8 Nm), do not
overtighten.
- Do not remove the pressboard washer
- Do not use any eyebolts which are deformed or damaged.
- Stresses transverse to the plane of the rings are not allowed.
If the load exceeds the weight stated in DIN 580, for example as a result
of additional mounted parts or unspecified load conditions, then the
eyebolts supplied must be replaced by suitable/special lifting eyes (e.g.
RUD-Starpoint), or other methods of lifting must be used.
