Disconnection of the electric wires
NOTE
•
This is a small waterproof connector. Do not repeat connecting and disconnecting it. The waterproof section or the connecting section may become worn or
deformed, and the function may be affected.
•
When removing the electric wire, use the wider end of the Shimano original tool TL-EW02 as shown in the illustration. If you pull too firmly on an electric wire
without using the Shimano original tool, a malfunction may occur.
•
Forcibly disconnecting an electric wire may damage it.
Removing from the front derailleur

Insert the Shimano original tool

into
the groove in the plug cover
(B)
as
shown in the illustration.
Firmly hold the plug cover, and then
remove the electric wire together with
the plug cover, using the side of the
front derailleur as leverage for support.
If the plug cover comes loose, remove it
completely using the Shimano original
tool.
