Locking/unlocking the keypad
To lock or unlock the keypad, hold down
until the screen indicates that the
keypad is locked or unlocked.
You can also lock the keypad using the
“SECURITY” settings.

Programming an emergency
number
You can program an “emergency”
number. When the number is activated,
it will be automatically dialled when
is pressed.
Note:
To dial regular calls using the
keypad after the emergency number
has been programmed and activated,
you must first enter the number with the
number keys and then press
(
cannot be pressed before
entering a number).

: Select this to activate

DEACTIVATE

deactivate the number. Press

the desired number with the number
keys (or press

number in the phonebook),

Note that when you change the
number, it is automatically activated.

When the emergency number is
activated, “EMERGENCY” appears
in the message area of the display.
