Very carefully clean the top of the electrode using the repeat this
procedure a few times.
NOTES:
•
Never move the cleaner in any direction except up and down when
the cleaner is in contact with the electrode.
•
Be sure to clean away the whole area evenly. Never clean only a
portion of the electrode.

Install the electrode and secure it with the one screw.

Insert the main corona unit all the way into machine. Guides must
be inserted into proper slots.
B. Clean the transfer/separation corona wires

Tilt the paper transport block accessing lever to left. Rotate the
transfer corona lock plate clockwise using the scale or flat tip
screwdriver to release it from the lock. Remove the trans-
fer/separation corona unit from the copier.

Unhook the section A of the separation corona guide, slide the
separation corona in the direction of the arrow, and remove the
separation corona guide from the corona housing.

Squeeze the transfer/corona wire with the corona wire cleaner.
Move the cleaner in the direction of the arrow to clean the wire.

Install the separation corona guide to the corona housing. Insert
the corona assembly along the guide of the transfer/separation
corona unit.
Rotate the transfer corona lock plate counterclockwise, return the
paper transport block accessing lever clockwise, and close the
front panel.
