LeanSteer Frame
Removal
Tool Required:
5 mm hex wrench
1. Make sure the PT is powered off and unplugged.
2. Using a 5 mm hex wrench, remove the two fasteners
holding the LeanSteer Frame to the LeanSteer Stem
(see
), while supporting the LeanSteer
Frame.
3. Remove the LeanSteer Frame.
Installation
Tools Required:
5 mm hex wrench
Torque
wrench
1. Make sure the PT is powered off and unplugged.
2. Place the LeanSteer Frame onto the LeanSteer Stem
(see
3. Using a 5 mm hex wrench, install the two fasteners.
Torque to
11.0 N-m (8.1 ft-lbf)
.
4. With the PT powered down (OFF), lean the LeanSteer
Frame fully left and right, until it touches each
fender (see
5. Ensure the LeanSteer Frame returns to a straight,
upright position. If it is not vertical, follow the
instructions on
to remove and install the
LeanSteer Stem.
6. Check the fasteners to be sure they are tight.
NOTICE
Check the fasteners at least monthly to be sure they
remain tight. If they are loose, tighten the fasteners
to
11.0 N-m (8.1 ft-lbf)
.
7. Perform post-service tests (
