In this test, a single brake stops the empty car in the upward direction under emergency
conditions.

Calculate the balancing factor, KG.
Balancing factor (KG) = 100 x
[counterweight mass (GG) - car mass (GK)]

On HMI, activate the test mode as follows:
a)
Press "OK".
HMI shows [10/__/_0].
b)
Select "Test mode".
HMI shows [20/__/__].
c)
Press "OK".
HMI shows [20/__/_0].
d)
Activate the test mode.
HMI shows [20/__/_1].

The car travels to the control cabinet floor and the door opens.
–
The door remains open. HMI shows [__/__/- -].

On HMI, activate the required test as follows:
a)
Select "Start Single Brake Test Up".
HMI shows [__/__/65].
b)
Press "OK".
HMI shows [65/__/_1].
–
The door closes.
–
The car travels to the bottom floor. The door remains closed.

HMI shows [65/__/_2].

a) Be ready to remove the test connector immediately in case the LED LUET
turns off.
The LED LUET turns off when,
unintentionally,
the car moves out of the
door zone.
b) In control cabinet, keeping an eye on the LED LUET,
plug the test
connector TEST-MGB
into the socket MGB-T on PCBA SNGL or PCBA
SEM3x.
–
The (single) brake is expected to prevent the car from moving.
–
If unintentional car movement occurs, the elevator may remain in
operation but the brake has to be replaced within 4 weeks.

On HMI,
press "OK".
–
The controller checks that the test connector is plugged in correctly.
–
HMI shows [65/__/_3], indicating "Single brake test up ready to run".

On HMI,
press "OK"
to start the test.
–
The car travels to the top floor. During the travel, HMI shows [65/__/__].
"65" blinks.
–
When the car reaches VKN, HMI shows [65/__/_1]. "65" still blinks.
–
The control triggers an emergency stop.
–
The machine brake stops the car.
–
HMI shows [65/__/_4].

Unplug the test connector TEST-MGB on PCBA SNGL or PCBA SEM3x.
