CAUTION
!
Internal inspection and maintenance of the UPS should be performed only by service technicians.
Electric shock, bodily injury, burns, fuming, or fire may otherwise result.
Before beginning inspection, shut down the UPS completely and remove the input power. There is
danger of electric shock.
While the batteries are connected to the equipment, hazardous voltage is present. Never touch
any parts with your hand.
Doing so may result in an electric shock.
Check the status of the UPS and see the following table for the countermeasure to take.

Is the input power supply connected to the input/output terminal block of the
UPS properly?
See “§6.3.2 Wiring to the Terminal Block,” and connect it properly.
Are all the cables between the UPS Units connected properly?
See “§6.3.1 Wiring Between UPS Units,” and connect each of the cables
properly.
Is
MAIN MCCB

See “§8.1 Starting the UPS” and check the correct operating procedure.
The buzzer sounds when
the UPS starts
Batt Vol Error

Are the battery packs installed properly?
Stop the UPS, see Ҥ6.2 Installing the Battery Packs and Attaching the Front
Panel,” and securely install the battery packs. After installing the battery
packs, restart the UPS and check that the buzzer does not sound.
When the UPS starts, all of
the LEDs of the UPS Units
blink.

Check that the input voltage and input frequency are within rated ranges.

Was the shutdown operation performed in accordance with the correct
procedure?
See “§8.2 Shutting Down the UPS.” However, bypass power supply will
continue during bypass operation if it was started by, for example, a
changeover with the forced bypass switch, an overload, or malfunction.
If the shutdown operation was performed by pressing
on the UPS Unit
control panel, was the shutdown operation performed in accordance with the
setting value?
Is “UPS Shutdown Operation” in the LCD panel setting menu set to “3 Sec.”
(3 seconds) or “Unique” (special operation)?
See “§3.9 Setting UPS Shutdown Operation” in the LCD Panel Operating
Manual and check the setting value.
The default setting is “1 Sec” (1 second).

“BYPASS”?

Manual and check the setting value. The default setting is “OFF.”
