CAUTION
!
For safety, use L-type rails (support rails) when mounting the UPS on a rack.
For more information on L-type rails, contact your rack manufacturer or sales representative.
See “§6.1.2 Checking the Installation Space” and make sure you secure enough ventilation space at the front and the
back of the UPS. Do not place objects on top of the UPS. Doing so may damage the UPS.
The UPS is heavy so we recommend mounting it on the very bottom of the rack. Use L-type rails (support rails) when
mounting the UPS in the rack. For more information on L-type rails, contact your rack manufacturer or sales
representative.
①
Prepare the following items supplied with the product
②
Insert the support brackets B in two places at the left and right of the front panel of the UPS Unit 1 so that the tabs
at the top are facing outward.
③
Align the rack mounting brackets with the mounting holes on the sides, and secure them with two screws B.
④
Similarly, attach the rack mounting brackets to UPS Unit 2.
⑤
Verify UPS Unit 1 and UPS Unit 2 on the back of the UPS Units, and mount the units so that Unit 1 is on the top and
Unit 2 is on the bottom using the L-type rails (support rails). Use the L-type rails for each of the two UPS Units.
