CAUTION

Wiring should be performed only by service technicians.
UPS wiring must be carried out following the instructions in this instruction manual.
Incorrect wiring may result in electric shock and/or fire.
Take precautionary measures when wiring such as wearing insulated gloves. There is danger of
electric shock.
Make sure that connections of the UPS terminal block are not loose. Failure to do so may result
in electric shock, injury, and/or a fire.
Be sure to ground the UPS. There is danger of electric shock. Do not install the UPS in a
location where it cannot be grounded.

Prepare the following items supplied with the product.

Connect the “INPUT” connectors of UPS Unit 1 and UPS Unit 2 using the unit-to-unit input cable.

Connect the “OUTPUT” connectors of UPS Unit 1 and UPS Unit 2 using the unit-to-unit output cable.

Connect the “UIF A1” connector of UPS Unit 1 and the “UIF A2” connector of UPS Unit 2 using the unit-to-unit
interface cable. If there is danger of the cables being caught on something, wind and secure the cables using cable
clamps as shown in the figure.

Attach the Earth bar by use installed screws in the earth stud (F.E.) of UPS unit 1 and UPS unit 2.

Connect “UIF A1” of UPS Unit 1
and “UIF A2” of UPS Unit 2 and
secure with a cable clamp.
Pass the cable through the clamp with
the clamp open, and then close the
hooks.

A connector cannot be inserted if it is not oriented properly.
Check the insertion orientation.
