Follow the procedure below to shut down the UPS. Be sure to shut down the load devices before shutting down the
UPS.
If the UPS will not be used for one week or more, proceed to step

all LEDs turn off.
When shutting down the UPS daily, do

. Leave it set to “ON.”

of the two UPS Units to “OFF.”
If
MAIN MCCB
is set to “OFF” while the UPS is operating, the batteries are discharged as if a power outage occurred. Be aware
that when operation resumes, the full capacity of the backup function will not be available.
If the operation above is performed, the entire UPS will stop. To stop just one of the UPS Units, perform the procedure described
in “Shutdown Operation” of “§8.3 Operation Using the UPS Unit Control Panel.”
Recharge the batteries periodically if you store the UPS for a long period after shutting down the UPS using the procedure
above. For details on charging, see (4) of “§3.3 Handling Precautions.”
