DI set: Set the VFD frequency by the 3 level DI signal (DI set 1~3) on the interface board, only valid under open
loop running (close loop running is invalid). When no switch close, the set frequency is the minimum frequency;
multiple level switches close, the set frequency is max level set, set value and frequency relation, please see 5-23.
● Upper computer set: Set the VFD SET FREQUENCY by upper system (or SET PARAMETER)
~ 20mA) or voltage signal (2 to 10V), the corresponding relationships of the analog sets can be adjusted by
"minimum set current" and "maximum set current". Under open loop control, the analog set signal corresponds
to the 0Hz
~
max. frequency. Under closed loop control, the analog set signal corresponds to 0%(100%.The
corresponding relationship between the set value and frequency is shown in Figure 5-22.
5.3.5 Start Mode
The VFD has several start modes:
● Normal start: The VFD starts output from the start frequency and accelerates to a set frequency (or the expected
value of the controlled amount) according to the acceleration time curve.
● Rotating speed start, rotor position start: The VFD starts under the rotating state of the motor and accelerates
directly on the basis of the original motor speed. It is mainly used for operation without midway stop, detail in the
section 6.4.
● Torque start, rotor position start, parameter start: Not refer to this user’s manual.
5.3.6 Reverse Rotation Running
When a reverse rotation of the motor is needed, the function parameter ‘reverse rotation’ must be set to enable.
Different set frequency modes should follow different steps to setup reverse rotation, see Figure 5-24.
