D e s c r i p t i o n

In trying to poll another fax machine, you are
using an incorrect poll code.

The fax machine you are attempting to poll is
not ready to respond to your poll.

A send or receive has failed due to a
communications problem.

The machine you tried to call does not answer.

Your SF 2200 cannot connect with the remote
machine, or has lost contact because of a
problem on the phone line.

SF 2200 is out of fax paper.

Loaded document has jammed in the feeder.

SF 2200 Cover is not securely latched.

The One-Touch or Speed Dial location you
tried or use has no umber assigned to it.

You have attempted to set up s sending
operation with on document loaded.

SF 2200 has overheated, possibly as a result of
receiving several nearly all-bland faxes.

S o l u t i o n

Check your records of poll codes, or call the remote
operator and request the code.

Call the remote operator.

Try again.

Try again. If failure persists, wait an hour or so for
the line to clear, then try again.

Load paper (page 10).

Clear jam (page 19).

Press down on Cover until you feel it latch securely.

Dial the number manually with the Key Pad, or
assign a number (page 21).

SF 2200 will automatically return to standby mode
when it cools down to normal operating temperature.
