The Delay  Poll/Multiple Poll mode allows you to program your fax unit to automatically poll one or
m o re unattended fax units now or later. Use the Delay Poll/Multiple Poll feature to automatically
retrieve documents from remote fax units in the evening, when telephone rates are lowest.
You can program up to 30 poll sessions within a 24-hour period for your fax unit to poll remote units.
One of these sessions(multi-dial) can be set to call up to 10 remote locations sequentially, beginning at
the programmed time.

To set up Delay Poll or Multiple Poll sessions

1.  Press FUNCTION, then 2.
2.  Press YES in response to DELAY POLLING?
3.  Follow the steps at right.

Note : If a multi-number Delay Dial or Delay Poll session is already set up, you will not receive the SET

M U LTI-DIAL message shown at right. To check your delay settings, print the Delay Dial List (see
page 33).

Enter the telephone number of the remote unit, using the
Key Pad, a One-Touch key or a Speed Dial number.
Press YES when finished.

To poll more than one unit (up to 10) in this session, press
the YES key and enter numbers, as above, for each
additional location you want to poll. After each number,
you will return to this message. After the last number,
press NO.

If you do not need to enter a poll code, press the NO key.
If you do need to enter a poll code, enter the code using
the Key Pad, then press YES.
