Setting Default Resolution and Contrast
You can set the default document settings including contrast
and resolution. The default mode will be used when a
document is sent unless you change the setting for individual
operation.

Press
Setup
. The display shows “1.SYSTEM SETUP” on
the bottom line.

Enter
.

Press the
Scroll
buttons (
or
) until you see “SET
DEFAULT”.

Press
Enter
. The display shows the first option
“CONTRAST”.

To set the default contrast, press
Enter
.
Or,
To set the default resolution, press the
Scroll
buttons
(
or
) until you see “RESOLUTION” and then press
Enter
.

Press the
Scroll
buttons (
or
) until you see the
desired mode in the display.

Press
Enter
to save the selection.

Press
Cancel/Reset
to return to Standby mode.
