Setting the PIN Code
You can set the product to require a special PIN (Personal
Identification Number) code when somebody tries to make
colour copy. The PIN code helps you prevent your product
being used by unauthorised persons.
Take the following steps to activate this feature and set the
PIN code:

Press Setup on the front panel. The display shows
“1.SYSTEM SETUP” on the bottom line.

Press Enter.

Press the Scroll buttons (
or
) repeatedly until you
find “PIN CODE”, and press Enter.

Press the Scroll buttons (
or
) repeatedly to select
“ON”, and press Enter.
If you want to disable the PIN code, select “OFF”. You do
not need to continue the following steps.

The display prompts you to enter the PIN code number.
Enter the four-digit code number as your preference
using the number keypad.
The PIN code is preset to “0000” at the factory.

Press Enter to save the setting.
You will be required to enter the four-digit code each
time you press the Start Copy Color button.
