6- Advanced parameters
6.1 Accessing the advanced parameters
If you are using your computer's Ethernet card to configure your router, connect it to an Ethernet port (
LAN1
to
LAN4
).
Your router is then configured using a simple Web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer).
Note
The router's DHCP server function is activated by default with an address range
defined as indicated in subsection.6.4.4.
To access the configurer, proceed as follows:
1.
Open your browser.
2.
Enter the router’s IP address (by default
http://192.168.1.1
) or enter the following URL http://myrouter.
3.
In the login screen that appears, enter your identification information.
By default, the identification information is:
Username:
admin
Password:
etdm
Note
The equipment's IP address (192.168.1.1) appears in the screen.
4.
Click on
OK
to validate.
