The protection mode „OFF” is activated by default on both IDUs after change to PROTECTED design. In
this mode just port LAN 3 (and USB B) can be used for management connection, ODU transmitter is
automatically muted. It prevents any Ethernet loops or radio interferences during configuration
process.
