Calibrating the- position feedback yP:
The position feedback function is used to see what position, for example, the control valve or the
ventilation flap is in. The position feedback yP is attached either as a resistance remote sensor or
as a unit current
signal 0/4...20 mA.
The position feedback can be tuned for X0 or X100 via the
interface and the front foil. It is tuned in two steps:
•
The calibration for X0:
As shown in Fig.: 12, x0c is selected. When the 'Selection' key is pressed
the "c"'on the x0c display begins to blink. Now the user brings the actuator (pressing the
DI
key), into the position for X0 (usually lower end position). Display 1 shows the value currently valid
for INP6. By re-pressing the 'Selection' key it is possible to store the current value as XO.
•
The calibration for X100 is similar.
First x100c is selected. When the 'Selection' key is pressed the x100c display begins to
blink. Now the user puts the remote sensor (pressing the
DI
key), into the position for X100
(usually upper end position). Display 1 shows the value currently valid for INP6. By pressing
the 'Selection' key again it is possible to store this current value as X100.

!!! Tuning is possible only if the controller is set for manual operation !!!
The position feedback as resistance remote sensor
As a resistance remote sensor, a potentiometer is connected mechanically to the actuator. The
potentiometer is connected to the terminals of the unit. Power is supplied through the 0 % and 100 %
connections.
Through the Yp connection the position of the actuator is measured by proportional voltage. The
resistance R
total
, including the cable resistance, may not be higher than 1
!
.
The Yp position feedback as unit current signal 0/4...20 mA
Input resistance is 50
!
