2.2 Safety information
Read the enclosed safety information and
observe them unconditionally
!
The insulation of the instrument corresponds to the standard EN 61 010-1 (VDE 0411-1) with Level of Contamination 2,
Overvoltage category III, working voltage range 300 V and Level of Protection I. In addition, in the case of
horizontal installation: if the instrument insert has been pulled out, protection must be provided against conducting parts falling into the open
housing.
2.3 Electromagnetic compatibility
The instrument is in accordance with the European Directive 89/336/EEC, and is provided with
CE-identity marking. The following European generic standards have been met:
Noise emission: EN 50081-2 and interference immunity: EN 50082-2. The instrument may be used for industrial purposes
(in residential areas it may cause disturbance to radio reception). With a metal, earthed
switchhousing the emission of noise can be decisively reduced.
2.4 Maintenance / action against disturbance
The controller requires no maintenance. In the case of disturbance the following points are to be checked:
Auxiliary energy for voltage / frequency and proper connection / all connections for precision /
the sensors and control elements for non-defective functioning / the configuration commands for required
functions and the set parameters for necessary effect. If the controller still fails to function
perfectly after this inspection it is to be taken out of operation and replaced.
Cleaning: housing and front may be wiped with a dry non-fluffy cloth.
Do not use solvents or cleaning materials!
