Frying (when SteamFrying
™
)
A whole chicken is only 5 minutes, a roast is about 10 minutes.
Whole Turkeys cannot be SteamFried
™

1. Remove the food-fi lled basket and set it aside on an absorbent cloth or some paper
towels.
2. Remove the SES.
3. Discard the infused liquid.
4. Wash out and thoroughly dry the Inner Cooking Bowl.
5. Remove the SteamBlocking Sheet from the Filter’s Cartridge and replace it with
your Charcoal Filter.
6. Add oil Measure and pour 3½ Qts. of favorite oil for Frying into the Inner Cooking
Bowl.
7. Reattach the SES.
8. Heat Oil. Turn the thermostat to 385°F and set the Timer Dial to 45
minutes. (It takes about 13 minutes to heat up 3½ Qts. of oil to 385°F).
IMPORTANT:
Turning the Timer Dial will turn the Fryer on. When the indicator light
is red , the oil is heating. When the indicator light turns green, your oil has reached
the desired temperature.
9. Follow Frying time instructions (see page 6 in your instructions)
