can be either indoor or outdoor as long as it is at least 4×4 m (16 sq m).
The ground shall be flat but not too wet, slippery, smooth or rugged.
There shall be no steps, obstacles, motor vehicles, bicycles, pets,

infants or other distracting objects on the site. You need an instructor

(coach) who is experienced in driving and has read the warnings/pre-
cautions in this manual to aid you according to the instructions. Make
sure to wear the equipment including a helmet to  protect the wrists,

hands, knees and head to avoid any possible injury.

Fig 6:

1. Power-on:

Press the power switch (its indicator will turn on) to

connect the power supply. Please keep the foot board basically level
when turning on the power.

2. Get-on:

When using the vehicle for the first time, the driver can ask a

caregiver to help hold it stable. The driver stands on the rear part of the
vehicle with both hands holding the handlebar. Please put the operating

rod straight (in a basically idle condition), and adjust the handlebar until

it remains level. Look straight ahead. First, put one foot onto the foot
board. Move the body’s weight slowly onto the foot board and lift the
other foot. Try best to avoid moving the handlebar laterally, raise the
other foot slowly off the ground and put it onto the foot board. Stay calm
and relaxed, and watch forward.
The sequence of postures for getting on is shown below:

3. Driving:

The driver should manipulate this vehicle with his/her body

posture rather than with the accelerator and brake. In this way he/she
will feel more comfortable and responsive in driving. When the driver
stands onto the vehicle and leans forward, the main body will control the
wheels automatically to drive the vehicle forward; or leaning backward to
back the vehicle. Turn the handlebar left/right to drive the vehicle
leftward/rightward.
