Access Procedures

DPI / HIM Assembly Removal 
and Installation

Remove the DPI / HIM Assembly from the Protective Cover

1.

Read the General Safety Precautions on page 

10

.

2.

Remove power from the drive. See Remove Power from the Drive on page 

44

.

3.

Disconnect the DPI cable from the HIM assembly.

4.

Remove the screw that secures the DPI / HIM assembly to the drive.

5.

Carefully remove the DPI / HIM assembly from the cover and disconnect 
the cable from the connector on the back side of the assembly.

Install the DPI / HIM Assembly on the Protective Cover

Install the DPI / HIM assembly in reverse order of removal.
