Using RSLogix 5000 Software to Set the IP Address
1.
Create a new offline project, with the drive and any other necesary componenents.
2.
In the Controller Organizer, select the I/O Configuration folder. Right-click the selected folder and select New Module.
3.
Select a DriveLogix5730 Ethernet
Port from the list of possible
communication devices.
Click OK.
4.
Enter a Name for the port and the desired address.
Click Finish.
Important:
You must create an offline project and download it to
the controller before going online. If the controller is
already programmed, skip these first three steps.
