Inserting the code chip

Remove the old code chip, if one is inserted in the

meter.

Check that the number on the code chip matches

the number on the label of the test strip container.

Slide the new code chip into the code chip slot (as

shown) until you feel it snap into place.

If the code chip is missing or incorrectly inserted, a corre-

sponding error message appears in the display (refer to

the

“Troubleshooting”

section of this manual).
