Beeper

The CoaguChek Pro II meter can display information visu-

ally and alert you to special circumstances with a

Beeper

The meter always beeps when it is switched on. When the

Beeper

function is enabled the meter beeps once when:

■

it detects a test strip

■

pre-heating of the test strip is complete and you

need to apply a sample

■

it detects a sample

■

the test is completed and the results are displayed

(a long beep)

■

an error occurs (three short beeps)

■

an external power adapter is connected when the

meter is on

■

the meter is docked

■

a barcode is scanned

You can also activate a

Key Click

. When a

Key Click

enabled, the meter clicks briefly every time a button is

touched, facilitating the input of information.

We recommend that you keep the

Beeper

enabled at all

times.
