STAT tests STAT tests are a limited number of tests that can be per-
formed in emergency situations, see page 88. If the meter
is configured to perform STAT tests, you have the option
of performing a test by choosing STAT even though a QC
Lockout is in place.
1 To perform the measurement
without
performing a
quality control test, touch Patient Test :
2 Touch the button to select the parameter you want
to use.
3 Touch to confirm the number of remaining
STAT tests.
4 Perform the test.
When a STAT test is performed, this information is stored
with the result. The number of STAT tests allowed is
reduced by 1. After all pending quality control tests are
performed, the specified number of STAT tests is availa-
ble again in case of a new lockout.
