Drive Sphere Replacement
1 Apply adhesive* to curtain edge drive sphere stud
before pushing through curtain and add more
adhesive to stud before tightening Adhesive must
ooze out both sides after stud is tightened
2 Stud must be tightened prior to adhesive starting to
dry. Adhesive dry time is ≈ 1 minute.
Torque spec: 16in-lbs ± 4in-lbs [1.4Nm ± .45Nm].
* Recommended adhesive for thread locking and securing
drive sphere to the edging:
Loctite
®
438 or 3M-DP8005 (supplied by others)

1 Turn power off and follow "Lockout Procedure" on
page 4
2 Remove lower re-feed roller (E)
3 Remove screws (C) holding retention strip with
J-Strip (D) in place and slide strip out through the top
of the lower track (B)
4 Slide new retention strip into lower track
NOTE: Per the top view (A), orient the longer leg of
the "J" toward the lower track and the groove away
from the lower track
5 Fasten strip with screws at the bottom of lower track
DO NOT screw strip to lower track, other than at
the bottom
