Appendix F: External connectors:
Both the keyboard and mouse share the same fused supply and are powered at all times,
even when the computer is in standby mode. This allows a programmable keyboard
sequence to typed to turn the system power on. It does not matter which way round the
keyboard and mouse are connected, but the "wake-on-keypress" feature will only work if the
keyboard is plugged into the lower socket.
