9.5 Testing Consistent Heatless Dryer Cycling
With the Compressor running
:
9.5.1
Locate the purge port on
the rear of the unit
Place your hand behind the purge port to feel for purging air. Air should
be steadily purging from the port, and a burst of air should be felt every 60
seconds as the dryer cycles between towers.
If the Heatless Dryer is not cycling consistently as described, see section 0for
troubleshooting information.
9.6 Measuring Heatless Dryer Solenoid Voltage
With the Compressor running
:
9.6.1
Locate the Heatless Dryer Cycle Timer.
The timer has two (2) sets of terminals
(from top-to-bottom):
“
VALVE
” – controls solenoid
“
IN
” – Incoming power
WARNING!
Internal surfaces may be hot
. Use care when coming into contact
with internal components as there is a potential for some of these
components to become hot when in operation or standby.
