If a point configuration has a point Data Class of Local, it is not available
to the SCADA master through the Class 0, 1, 2, 3 mechanisms. Points
configured as Local are accessible via a DNP3 "Level 3" read request.
Valid point Data Class values are Local, Class 0, Class 1, Class 2 and
Class 3.
Significant Change:
the Significant Change attribute is used to detect
changes in a cou
nter point’s current value. A change exceeding the
deviation specified in this attribute causes a DNP3 event to be
generated, subject to the point being configured in a DNP3 event class
(1, 2 or 3).
The value specified in this attribute is an absolute value regards to the
counter's current value. Default is 0, resulting in an event on any
changes.
Frozen Counter Static Variation:
each of the counter points has a
matching DNP3 Frozen Counter point. The field defines the Frozen
Counter data object returned in response to a DNP3 static data poll
request (i.e. Class 0 request). This attribute must be defined for each
counter point. The following table lists the valid types for Frozen Counter
points:
