Disconnect the charged cylinder from the cylinder recharge device.
15.
The gas tightness must be checked by using purple leak detection fluid.

Alternately, alcohol can be poured onto the cylinder adapter until the diaphragm is submerged.
Then check for bubbles must be seen.

Note: Do not submerge the head in water or use water in place of alcohol.
18.
If the cylinder is leaking, re-tighten the diaphragm until it is tight. Torque at 40-50 Nm (29-36
foot pound). Re-test for leakage with purple leak detection fluid or alcohol.
19.
If the cylinder is still leaking, discharge the cylinder, remove and dispose of the diaphragm.
20.
Repeat the charging procedure as described above using a new diaphragm.
21.
After a successful test, remove the detection fluid and weigh the cylinder again. Write the total
weights on the cylinder label. The operator signs and puts date on the label.
22.
Fit with a diffuser cap or attach operating head. If the operating head must first be rearmed,
proceed to Section 6.2 before connecting operating head to cylinder.
23.
The operating head must be attached to the cylinder adapter to a torque of 50Nm (37 ft-lbs).
Place diffuser caps on operating head outlets.
