11. Assembly of the metal housing

 Before you install the metal housing on your RF500 Maker construction kit, install the retrofitting set for the heated printing bed, if 

present.

 

Tighten all M5 cylinder-head screws to a torque of 3 Nm.

a) Preparation of the printer

Newly place the connection line for the Z-motor

First, the connection line for the Z-motor is newly installed.

Remove all cable ties and adhesive bases (incl. the adhesive resi

-

dues), of the Z-line to the PCB holder.

Pull the plug of the line for the Z-motor from the motor.
