Assembly of the rear aluminium profiles
Put the printer on the front and support the 4 M5 cylinder-head screws
of the display holder with one of the short aluminium profiles previ
-
ously removed. Otherwise, the operating head may be damaged.
Position the printer so that the rear
left
aluminium profile is acces
-
sible.
Relieve the two Y-belts by opening the two screws of the belt tension-
ers.
Release and remove the 4 M5 cylinder-head screws that attach the
profile.
Take the aluminium profile where the filament holder is attached and
put it aside.
Remove the vertical aluminium profile from the printer and pull the
shaft carefully from the ball bearing. Observe the washer.
Pull the shaft from the ball bearing on the right side and put it aside.
Remove the foot from the disassembled aluminium profile and put it
aside as well.
Carefully lever the ball bearing out of the cut-out of the short profile
and remove the slot nut for the PCB holder.
Insert both into the long aluminium profile.
The short profile with the cut-out is no longer needed.
The upper bores and cut-outs of the long and short alu-
minium profiles are identical!
Insert the long aluminium profile into the printer and attach it at the top
with 2 of the 4 M5 cylinder-head screws.
Tighten the screws hand-tight.
Take the foot and screw it into the aluminium profile at the bottom.
Insert the aluminium profile into the printer and attach it with one M5
cylinder-head screw.
Tighten the screw hand-tight.
The filament holder must point outwards!
