e) Connecting the Power Supply, Switching on the Speed Controller
Switch on the transmitter if you have not done so yet.
Place the vehicle on an appropriate surface so that the wheels
can turn freely.
Connect the plug of the battery/rechargeable battery holder with
the vehicle (see arrow in the figure on the right).
Switch on the speed controller. The switch is located right be-
hind the steering servo, see arrow in the figure on the right.
Both the motor and the steering servo should move briefly now;
the red LED on the speed controller must light up briefly and
then go out.
If the motor does not stop, adjust the motor function trimming
on the transmitter. In the neutral position (motor standing), the
red LED on the speed controller goes out.
Now check the drive and steering functions of the vehicle.
f) Attaching and Fastening the Car Body
Push the aerial tube through the respective opening from the bottom of the car body.
Now put the car body on the holders and fasten the vehicle panelling with the holding brackets removed at the start.
Your car is now ready for its first test run!
