If you forgot to adjust the time of delay, press “РАЗОГРЕВ/ОТМЕНА” button
and adjust.
Setting the time of the delay remember, that the cooking time starts to count
down (except “Жарка” and “Выпечка” programs) only when the required pressure
inside the chamber has been reached.
“Keep Warm” Function
The function is being automatically activated at the end of the cooking program.
The device maintains the temperature of 70–75°С for a period of time up to
12 hours (in “Жарка” and “Выпечка” programs — 2 hours). “Подогрев” indicator
and “РАЗОГРЕВ/ОТМЕНА” button indicator light up, and the “Keep Warm” time
starts to count up on a display in 1 hour increments (“0H” — less than 1 hour,
“1H” — 1 hour, etc.).
Press “РАЗОГРЕВ/ОТМЕНА” button to disable the function if required.
Preliminary Deactivation of the “Keep Warm” Function
The function can be disabled in advance – when adjusting the program or
during its operation. To disable the function press “Автоподогрев” button when
the program begins (button indicator goes off). To reactivate the function, repress
the “Автоподогрев” button (button indicator lights up).
“Reheat” Function
The function allows reheating cooked food up to 70–75°С and maintaining the
temperature for a period of time up to 12 hours.
1. Place the bowl with ingredients inside the device, close and lock the lid.

Turn the steam release valve regulator into “ЗАКРЫТ” (“CLOSED”) position.
Plug in the unit and press “РАЗОГРЕВ/ОТМЕНА” button. Button indicator
lights up, reheating time starts to count up in 1 hour increments. “Time
Delay” function is not available in this mode.

Press “РАЗОГРЕВ/ОТМЕНА” button to disable the function. Button indica
-
tor goes off; the device enters standby mode.
Non-volatile Memory
Pressure Multicooker RMC-PM180 is a non-volatile memory unit. In case of a
short term power cut-off, device resumes its operation without any memory loss.
Caution! In case of a long-term power interruption or when you do not want
the cooking program to be resumed, unplug the device. In order to reset press
“РАЗОГРЕВ/ОТМЕНА” button before next use.
Standard Operating Procedure for Automatic Programs
1. Measure the ingredients according to the recipe and place them inside the
bowl. Do not fill the bowl pass the scale mark indicating maximum capacity.
2. Place the bowl inside the device and rotate it slightly from side to side.
The bowl must make full contact with the heating element. Close and
secure the lid.
3.
Turn the steam release valve regulator into “ЗАКРЫТ” (“CLOSED”) position
(for pressure cooker mode programs) or “ОТКРЫТ” (“OPEN”) position (for
“Выпечка” program), plug in the unit.
4. Press the corresponding button to select the program. Button indicator
starts blinking; default cooking time of the program is displayed (without
preheating stage, except “Выпечка” and “Жарка” programs).
Keep pressing the “Суп”, “Тушение”, “Жарка” and “Пар/Варка” buttons
until selected product indicator is displayed: “Мясо”(“Meat”), “Рыба” (“Fish”),
“Овощи” (“Vegetables”), “Дичь” (”Game”), “Птица” (“Poultry”) or
“Морепродукты” (“Seafood”).*
5. Adjust the cooking time set by default for the program if required.
6. Delay the program if required (see “Time Delay” Function).
7. The program starts automatically few seconds after the settings have been
entered. “Нагрев” indicator is displayed. Cooking time of the program starts
to count down after the device reaches specific parameters required by
the cooking program, “Давление” indicator lights up. **
8. To disable the “Keep Warm” function in advance (see “Keep Warm” Function),
press “Автоподогрев” button — its indicator goes off. To reactivate the
function repress the button.
9. When cooking time elapses an audible signal is heard. Depending on your
settings the device either automatically enters the “Keep Warm” mode
(“Подогрев” indicator lights up) or the standby mode. To disable the “Keep Warm”
function press “РАЗОГРЕВ/ОТМЕНА” function. Repress the button to resume.
10. When pressure cooking wait for 2–3 minutes for the pressure in the
chamber to drop in order to avoid the contents venting through the steam
outlet. Open the steam release valve and wait for the pressure to release.
11. To cancel or interrupt the program, or to disable the “Keep Warm” function
press “РАЗОГРЕВ/ОТМЕНА” button.
* Each subprogram features its own default cooking time which is being displayed.
** In “Выпечка” and “Жарка” programs cooking time starts to count down imme
-
diately after the beginning of the program, “Давление” indicator does not light up.
III. PRESSURE COOKER MODE PROGRAMS
Safety Protection System
Pressure Multicooker REDMOND RMC-PM180 is equipped with a multilevel
safety protection system. If the temperature or pressure inside the chamber
exceed safety limits, the system automatically interrupts the cooking process.
In case the pressure or temperature do not normalize within certain time pe
-
riod a special safety feature disconnects the power and stops the operation.
Operating the Device in Pressure Cooker Mode
In this mode the device cooks food under high pressure. Close the steam release
valve when pressure cooking.
DO NOT:
• pressure cook without at least 2 measuring cups of water or any other
liquid in the cooking bowl;
• fry foods with oil under pressure (instead, sauté minced vegetables in a
small amount of oil or stock with THE LID OF THE DEVICE OPEN);
•
fill the bowl with foods and liquids over 2/3 full, when cooking foods that
expand or foam (spinach, rice, beans, pasta, ravioli, etc.) over ½ full;
“Молочная каша” Program
The program is recommended for cooking porridges using milk. Default time is
10 minutes. Cooking time can be adjusted from 5 minutes to 3 hours in 1
minute intervals.
Follow recommendations below to avoid boiling away:
• rinse grain (rice, millet, oats, etc.) thoroughly until water runs clear before
cooking;
• grease the sides of the bowl with butter;
•
follow proportions suggested in the recipe book. Increase or reduce amount
of ingredients proportionally;
• using whole milk dilute it by half with water.
“Суп” Program
The program is recommended for cooking meat, fish, vegetable, seafood and
wild game soups and broths. Default time depends on the subprogram se-
lected: “Мясо” (“Meat”) — 40 minutes, “Рыба” (“Fish”) — 30 minutes, “Овощи”
(“Vegetables”) — 20 minutes, “Дичь” (“Game”) — 45 minutes, “Птица” (“Poultry”)
— 35 minutes, “Морепродукты” (“Seafood”) — 25 minutes. Cooking time can be
adjusted from 10 minutes to 8 hours in 5 minute intervals.
“Бобовые” Program
The program is recommended for cooking beans, peas, and other legumes.
Default time is 2 hours.
Cooking time can be adjusted from 10 minutes to 4 hours in 10 minute intervals.
“Тушение” Program
The program is recommended for making meat, fish, vegetable, seafood, poultry,
and wild game stews, meat jellies, and other slow cooked dishes. Default time
depends on the subprogram selected: “Мясо” (“Meat”) — 40 minutes, “Рыба”
(“Fish”) — 18 minutes, “Овощи” (“Vegetables”) — 15 minutes, “Дичь” (“Game”) — 45
minutes, “Птица” (“Poultry”) — 30 minutes, “Морепродукты” (“Seafood”) — 20
minutes.
Cooking time can be adjusted from 10 minutes to 12 hours in 5 minute intervals.
“Рис/Крупы” Program
The program is recommended for cooking rice and other grain side dishes.
Default time is 15 minutes.
Cooking time can be adjusted from 5 minutes to 2 hours in 5 minute intervals.
“Пар/Варка” Program
The program is recommended for boiling and steaming meat, fish, vegetables,
poultry, seafood, game meat, and baby food. Default time depends on the
subprogram selected: “Мясо” (“Meat”) — 20 minutes, “Рыба” (“Fish”) — 13 minutes,
“Овощи” (“Vegetables”) — 10 minutes, “Дичь” (“Game”) — 35 minutes, “Птица”
(“Poultry”) — 15 minutes, “Морепродукты” (“Seafood”) — 12 minutes.
Cooking time can be adjusted from 5 minutes to 5 hours in 5 minute intervals.
Use the steaming container and trivet provided to steam foods. Fill the bowl
with 500-600 ml of water. Evenly place ingredients into the steaming con-
tainer. Put trivet inside the bowl, add steaming container. Proceed to steps 2–11
of “Standard Operating Procedure For Automatic programs”.
“Плов” Program
The program is recommended for making meat, poultry, and vegetable pilafs.
Default time is 25 minutes.
Cooking time can be adjusted from 10 minutes to 2 hours in 5 minute intervals.
IV. MULTICOOKER MODE PROGRAMS
“Выпечка” Program
The program is recommended for baking cakes, pies, pudding, and for roasting
meat and fish in foil. Default time is 60 minutes.
Cooking time can be adjusted from 20 minutes to 4 hours in 5 minute intervals.
The program operates under normal pressure. Cook with the steam release valve open.
“Жарка” Program
The program is recommended for frying meat, fish, vegetables, poultry, seafood,
and game meat. Default time depends on the subprogram selected: “Мясо”
(“Meat”) — 20 minutes, “Рыба” (“Fish”) — 12 minutes, “Овощи” (“Vegetables”) — 18
minutes, “Дичь” (“Game”) — 18 minutes, “Птица” (“Poultry”) — 15 minutes,
“Морепродукты” (“Seafood”) — 13 minutes.
Cooking time can be adjusted from 5 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes in 1
minute intervals.
The program operates under normal pressure. Cook with the lid of the device
removed.
V. CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning and General Maintenance Guidelines
Before you start cleaning the device, make sure that it is unplugged and has
cooled down. Use soft cloth and mild soap to clean. We recommend cleaning
the appliance after each use.
DO NOT immerse the device in water or wash it under running water.
