4. Use the LCD monitor or viewfinder
to see what you are playing back.
Use the LCD Monitor
• Make sure the monitor is open 60˚.
The viewfinder turns off.
• Rotate the monitor to a comfortable
viewing position (180˚up and
around or 90˚ down).
• Adjust the brightness of the image
by turning the bright control (also
menu
PUSH
dial).
• Adjust the speaker volume with the
VOL
(volume) control (also zoom
lever).
Use the Viewfinder
• Make sure the monitor is closed and
locked. The viewfinder
turns on.
Snapshot Playback Feature
You can use the snapshot feature when
you are playing a tape back through the
LCD monitor or viewfinder.
The only type of snapshot that will appear
is
FULL
.

Playback the tape
as described on the
previous page
, and press the
SNAPSHOT
button.
A
FULL
snapshot will appear in
viewfinder or on the LCD monitor.
• Adjust the viewfinder for a
comfortable viewing position.
• Turn the eyepiece focus control to
adjust the focus of the viewfinder
for your vision.
5. Press the
PLAY/PAUSE
button to
begin playback.
• The
indicator appears in the
viewfinder or on the LCD
monitor during playback.
• Turn on TBC (Time Base
Corrector) if picture needs
stabilizing.
TBC
indicator appears
in viewfinder or on LCD monitor.
• If necessary, adjust tracking.
• During playback, use the play-
back features
on the following
pages.
6. Press the
STOP
button when you
are finished.
The camcorder will resume normal
playback.
