Getting Started

Getting Started

This section describes the basic steps necessary to transfer pictures from the
camcorder to the PC and save the pictures on the PC’s hard drive,

1. Turn off the power to the

camcorder and PC.

We suggest you use the adapter/
charger to power the camcorder
when transferring pictures to or
from a PC.

PC Connection
Cable

Connect to COM
Port (RS-232C) on
the PC

Connect to

DIGITAL

Connector of the camcorder.

2. Connect the

DIGITAL

connector

on the back of the camcorder to
the

COM

port (

RS-232C

) on the

PC using the supplied cable.

Note:

You will need to enter the

number of the COM port you connect
in the Picture Navigator software.

Connect the camcorder to the PC.

Use the cable provided to connect the camcorder to the PC to transfer the pictures
stored in the camcorder’s built-in memory to the computer.
