Reinstall desorber

•

If you are installing the vapor plate, align the circle on the vapor plate with the alignment pin on the
device, and screw on the vapor plate’s locking ring.

5. Clean the desorber cover with an alcohol swab on the front and back of the trap insertion slot.

6. Reinstall the desorber cover.

Replace the Dryer Material

The dryer tube is mounted on the rear panel of the device and is connected to the recirculating air device that
flows through the detector and acts to remove moisture, contaminants, and other vapors from the air circulating
through the detector. The water vapor is absorbed in the dryer material and becomes saturated and, therefore,
must be replaced on a weekly basis. A message displays reminding you to change the dryer material.

1. Remove the dryer tube at the rear of the device by unscrewing and pulling it straight out.

CAUTION:

DO NOT handle the dryer tube with bare hands as it may contaminate the device.
