Installing optional components

Installing the system into an EIA rail kit

Perform the following steps to install the R220 system into a square/round-hole or threaded-
hole rail kit. The steps match the numbers in

1. Remove the rack ear covers.

2. Slide the R220 system fully into the rail kits.

The R220 system can weigh more than one person can safely lift. Do not attempt to

lift it by yourself. Have another person help you.

3. Install the supplied #10-32 (4x) screws through the rack ears and into the rails.

4. Reattach the rack ear covers. Refer to

Installing rack ear covers on page 39

for detailed

instructions.
