Drive cage removal
Should you ever need to remove a drive cage from an I/O bay slot:
1. Power off the R220 system.
2. Press the ejector latch on the front of the drive carrier to the right. This will release the
ejector handle. Pull the carrier out of the chassis by the ejector handle. Refer to
for details.
3. Use a flathead screw driver to release the drive cage from the chassis by pressing the left
tab inward with the screwdriver and pressing the spring latch on the right inward. Pull the
drive cage out of the I/O bay slot.
