2. Move the cursor to select BASE UNAVAILABLE and then
press the
OK
soft key.
3. Move the cursor to select YES, and then press the
OK
soft
key.
4. ARE YOU SURE? appears on the display. Move the cursor to
select YES, and then press the
OK
soft key.
5. You will hear a confirmation tone, and the handset deletes
its own base information without contacting the base. The
handset displays the message, MODELS VARY! PLACE
HANDSET ON THE BASE FOR REGISTRATION OR REFER TO
OWNER’S MANUAL.
6. On the base you want to use, press the
MENU
soft key when
the phone is in standby.
7. Move the cursor to select REGISTER HANDSET, and then
press the
OK
soft key.
8. On the handset, press and hold # until you hear a beep.
When you need to clear a handset information from the base,
please follow these steps:
1. When the handset is in standby, press and hold
DND
and
#
on the base for more than five seconds. DEREGISTER HS
appears.
2. Move the cursor to select the handset ID to be de-registered
from the list, and then press the
OK
soft key. ARE YOU
SURE? appears.
3. Move the cursor to select YES, and then press the
OK
soft
key. You will hear a confirmation tone.
If you have trouble with de-registration, take your base and
handset (including accessory handset(s) if you have) to your
local
RadioShack
store or call 1-800-The Shack (
843-7422
) for
assistance.
Also, when you request repair or service, please be sure to bring
in the entire system (including accessory handset if used) so we
can keep your registration data intact.
