Beyond the Basics
For example, to hang up Line 2 but leave Line 1 connected:
Press the line 2 key (
LINE2
soft key on the handset, or
LINE2
on the base) to put Line 1 on hold.
Press on the handset or
on the base to hang up
Line 2.
Press the line 1 key (
LINE1
soft key on the handset, or
LINE1
on the base) to take Line 1 off hold and continue
the conversation.
To hang up both lines, press on the handset or
during a
conference call.
Transferring a Call
You can transfer a call from one station to another.
1. During a call, press
INT’COM/HOLD
on the handset or base.
The line key (the
LINE1
or
LINE2
soft key on the handset, or
LINE1
or
LINE2
on the base) will flash and the caller will be
put on hold.
2. Use
or to select the station you want to transfer the
call to. Then, press the
OK
soft key.
The call will automatically be placed on hold, and a paging
tone sounds. If you select ALL, all other registered handsets
and base will be paged.
To cancel the transfer, press following key on the initiating
station:
HANDSET:
Press /
FLASH
or
SPEAKER
.
BASE:
Press
.
3. When another station accepts the transferred call, your call
will be disconnected.
If you want to rejoin the call, press following key again:
HANDSET:
Press /
FLASH
or
SPEAKER
.
BASE:
Press
