2.2 Connecting to a Dahua NVR
2.2.1 Direct Connection
These instructions are for an NVR that has inbuilt POE ports.
1.
Connect the camera to the POE port of the NVR.
2.
This will then assign the camera an IP address in the 10.1.1.X range,
take note of the IP addresses.
3.
When all camera are connected to the NVR and have been assigned
an IP address, connect an Ethernet cable from a PC or Laptop to a
spare port on the POE of the NVR.
4.
Open Internet Explorer and enter one of the camera IP addresses in to
the address bar.
5. Log in with Username: admin Password: admin
6.
Select Config on the top of the web page.
7. Select Network.
8. Change the HTTP Port to 81 and the ONVIF Port to 80.
9. Save these settings.
10. Repeat for each of the remaining cameras.
11.
Restart the NVR when all cameras have been modified.
12.
You will now see the video feed of the camera.
