18.10 RFID TAG AND READER SPECIFICATIONS
The MosaiQ magazines and the MosaiQ system reagents have RFID tags that are
embedded in the label for traceability, on board management. Radio Frequency
Identification (RFID) system refers to a wireless system comprised of two components:
tags and readers.
The RFID reader is a device that has one or more antennas that emit radio waves and
receive signals back from the RFID tag. RFID readers located in different locations in the
MosaiQ 125
are used to read and write on the RFID tags.
