13 - FASTENING OF FLOOR GUIDE
Once the doors have been adjusted, the floor guide can be
attached. Make sure the Teflon block is centred so that, once
the plate is fixed to the floor, adjustments inwards or outwards
can be made of ±5 mm. To fix the guide to the floor, the doors
must be slid sideways to make room for the installation of the
guide.
The guide is positioned correctly when the Teflon block is rear
wall of the door in closed position.
After fastening the floor guides, the mobile doors must again
be adjusted.
14 - POSITIONING OF MECHANICAL STOP
During opening, the mechanical stop keeps the doors from overshooting the sliding area. It also is
used by the microprocessor to memorize the limits of movement at
first start-up or if there is a power outage and battery power is not
available.
Manually open the door all the way, taking into account the safe
distances (see below). Position the stop bumper behind the rear
carriage. Except after the first movement after a power outage,
during normal operation the mobile door stops about 10 mm before it
comes into contact with the bumper.
For automations with a single door, avoid overlapping during closing of the mobile door and the
fixed structure
(Fig.1)
. Also, if the thickness of the mobile doors is less than 4 cm, the brush on the
jamb should be replaced by a rubber along the entire height of the door.
A space must be left to prevent crushing of the fingers between the mobile and fixed uprights of at
least 25 mm (
Fig.2).
Reduce the sliding distance between the mobile and fixed doors to a maximum of 15 mm ( Fig.3).
Adjust the doors so that there is a space with the door open of 200 mm (Fig.4).
Avoid installing on the mobile doors plates, chains or anything else which may hook people during
movement.
