22 - FIRST START-UP
Before providing power to the automation, make sure you have made all connections, and
mechanical and electrical fastenings. Also check that the carriages do not strike any component
when they are moving.
Proceed as follows:
1.
Manually move the doors to about the halfway point of their normal travel
2.
Make sure there are no objects in front of the radars or photocells
3.
If the doors are made only of glass, as a precaution during the first start-up it is advisable to
place a rubber bumper at the lower edge between the two doors
4.
Switch on the 220 V power supply
5.
The selector will show

6.
Press and hold the RESET key (button in the hole at the bottom of the selector) on the LCD
selector. Wait for the message
A..
to appearon the display
7.
Press the START key on the control unit
8.
The automation must first close the doors. If instead the doors open, disconnect the power
supply. Invert the power supply cables of the motor and repeat the previous steps.
9.
The doors will automatically open at low speed until the carriages come to the previously
adjusted mechanical stops
10.
The display will show a count that indicates how long the doors stand still in an open
position during normal operation. To stop the count at the desired time, again press START
on the control unit
11.
The door will close again and resumes automatic operation

From this point on, the door will operate with the default parameters set at the plant.
Personalized programming:
The installer programme can be accessed to change default parameters. To do this, press and hold
the RESET key. This button is in the hole at the bottom of the selector. Hold it until the message
A..
appears on the display. To change the values
(0,1,2…)
press the key
“up/down”.
To go on to the
next parameters
(A,B,C…)
press the key
“enter”.
