10 - POSITIONING OF AUTOMATION
To centre the automation on the passageway, you will need to do the following:
For double doors, align the centre of the crosspiece with the centre of the passageway;
For a single door, the automation will need to overlap by 55mm the edge of the wall where the door
closes.
Standards establish that the sliding door may never overlap a surface as this would create the risk of
cutting. Therefore it is necessary to install a contact profile (tubular, not provided by Quiko, except
in cases where entries are not installed with Quiko door profiles). In this way it will be covered at
the top by the covering box of the automation.
If the door will contact a wall that is at 90° to its travel, the automation will also finish flush with
the wall.
N.B.
When determining the fastening height of the beam, it is very important to take as a
reference the highest point of the floor so as to avoid jams at the surface when the doors
slide.
