Please stand behind the UAV and keep a safety distance to the UAV of at least
10 m (33 ft) during the
complete flight operation.
Make sure the UAV is not moving during the Preflight check.
Select
PREFLIGHT (CHECK)
on the display of the transmitter or in QBase3D.
If the preflight check is not successful a message will be displayed on the transmitter.
During the preflight check the actual take-off position is transferred to QBase.
Step 7 – Check the control surfaces
Move the right stick to check the ailerons and elevator. If the stick configuration was changed, use the left stick to check the
ailerons and the elevator.
Make sure left and right aileron always move in the opposite direction and ensure that the ailerons are moving according to the
stick position as shown in the example below.

Make sure the control surfaces are moving while moving the stick. Do not fly if a control surface is not moving. See chapter 14.2
for troubleshooting.
