7. Remove the four screws, one located in each corner,
that are holding the motherboard in place.
8. Carefully remove the motherboard and turn it upside
down.
9. Remove the two screws indicated in Figure 46 .
10. Remove the damaged scale card and discard it.
11. Locate the replacement scale card and screw it into
place using the screw from step 6.
12. Turn the motherboard back over and replace the
screws from step 9.
13. Screw the motherboard back into place using the
screws from step 7.
14. Reconnect the cables to the motherboard. Refer to
Figure 47 if you need a reference.
15. Replace the controller lid and secure it using the
screws from step 4.
16. Plug all cables back into the controller.
17. Replace the glass platform.
18. Power the CubiScan 125 on.
19. Calibrate the CubiScan 125. For instructions on
calibrating the scale, see “Scale Calibration” on
page 14 .
Replacing the Load Cell Summing
Board
This section describes how to replace the load cell
summing board. The load cell summing board is located
in the load cell summing box. Handle the load cell
summing board with care and avoid exposing it to static
electricity.
