Updating software
If an updated software version is available for download, it can be accessed at
https://www.qiagen.com/products/qiacube-connect-mdx,
see the
Product Resources
tab.
The
download creates a ZIP file.
The software can only be updated by users assigned the role Administrator. It is recommended to
download all run reports before updating the software and to create a support package, because
run reports and support packages will be lost during software update (see section 5.7, Saving run
reports to the USB flash drive and section 7.2, Creating a support package).
Note
: A new software version might contain new version of the protocols.
1.
On the menu bar, press the
Configuration
icon (
).
2.
Press the
System
tab.
3.
The currently installed software version is shown at the right.

On a computer running Microsoft Windows, download and transfer the software ZIP file to the
main folder of the USB flash drive provided with the QIAcube Connect MDx and extract the
ZIP file there.
Note
: After extraction, make sure that all files from the ZIP file are extracted to the main folder
of the USB flash drive.
